Our Process

At Cloud 9, we aim to be your cabinet supplier for life. To that end, we feel that an understanding of our process is an important base of knowledge for our customers.

Following is the list of steps we will complete through the process of your project. We happily follow each of these steps in pursuit of your peace of mind in all your interactions with Cloud 9.

Before Order

Meet with Customer

  • Gain understanding of Customer’s specific needs
  • Customer’s styleheader selection(s)
  • Preliminary Measurements

Design project to Customer’s specifications

Present Preliminary Design to Customer

  • Present features and benefits of layout
  • Present Price and discuss any VE options
  • “Edit Session” with Customer
  • Confirm measurements

Redesign with Customer’s revisions (as many times as necessary)

Present Finalized Design to Customer

  • Confirm Customer Selections – features and style-header
  • Confirm measurements
  • Convey understanding of lead-time, provide approximate delivery date
  • Sign Purchase Order with client
  • Collect Order Deposit
  • OR – Collect full payment for 3%

Order Cabinets

After Order

Floor Sketch at jobsite for plumbing and electrical use

Set/Confirm Delivery Date

Collect Final Payment as necessary

Deliver Cabinets

Install Cabinets

  • Set uppers, then bases
  • Install hardware (if selected)
  • Adjust doors and drawers as necessary
  • Clean cabinets and dispose of associated
    construction debris

Walk Kitchen with Customer

  • Write punchlist (as necessary)
  • Order punchlist parts (as necessary)
  • Deliver parts and schedule installation (as necessary)
    • After-order service to homeowner for term of
      warranty as necessary
